Pastor Zach and Tina Gay
Zach and Tina moved from Goshen Indiana. Zach has a degree in Pastoral Studies from Rosedale Bible College and has been involved with international missions, worship ministry, youth ministry, small groups, and pastoring for nearly a decade. They have a heart to see the lost come to know God's love and experience the new life that Jesus offers. They also have a calling to gather scattered believers back into the community that God designed for us called the church.
Zach enjoys time with his family, one on one conversations over coffee, and playing a round of disc golf. Tina enjoys spending time with friends, baking, and reading sci-fi novels. They both love to host and break bread with friends and strangers alike.
Tina and Zach's personal mantra for this season of church planting is “feeding bellies and feeding souls.” God has granted Tina and Zach a ministry of hospitality from their home. Their hope is that this ministry extends into the city and creates a culture of hospitality within the church. Hospitality itself, when done for the purpose of showing God’s love, can be a powerful experience that the Holy Spirit uses to transform our lives. The dream at VFW is that we would be a church known for our love for God and our love for one another, known for being genuine in our gatherings and friendships, known for loving our neighbors, known for our vigorous praise, known for hosting a powerful presence of God's Holy Spirit, and known for the length of our table where there is room for anyone to sit and break bread with us.
